Ingredients
- Celery, chopped
- Carrots, chopped
- Garlic, minced
- Green lentils
- Chopped sirloin
- Cumin
- Salt
- Pepper
- Siracha, to taste
- Sugar, to taste
- Basil, chifonnade for garnish
- Toast or chips, for serving
Directions
- Put celery, carrots, garlic in a pot with water. Add lentils. Cook for 30 mins.
- In separate pan, brown chopped sirloin on low heat. Pour off excess fat. Season liberally with cumin, salt, bepper.
- Add lentil mix to beef. Cook together for about 5 minutes. Add siracha. Add sugar too taste.
- Serve with toast or chips
