1/2 cup vermicelli noodles
1 1/3 medium onions, chopped
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup corn
2 cups water
1 can tomato sauce
1 1/3 small green peppers, chopped
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cumin
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.
Add rice, vermicelli and onion and cook about 5-10 minutes, while stirring occasionally, until rice and noodles are golden brown and rice is tender.
Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until rice is tender.
