Notes:

Greatly nourishing matcha is the pulverised form of green tea which is all the rave these days for its superior antioxidant and detoxification powers and many other health benefits. Adding matcha to your waffle turns this into a super healthy breakfast, let alone its delicious taste. These bright green waffles are rich in fibre and packed with vitamin C, selenium, chromium, zinc and magnesium. They are an instant provider of energy and are wonderfully light and crispy.

Ingredients:

Coconut milk ( unsweetened) - 1 cup
Apple cider vinegar - 1 tbsp
Gluten-free flour - 2 cups
Sugar - ¼ cup
Shredded coconut ( unsweetened ) - ½ cup
Baking powder - 2 Tsp
Matcha green tea powder - 1 tbsp
Kosher salt - 1 Tsp
Melted coconut oil - ¼ cup

Preheat the waffle iron and grease it with coconut oil.

Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl and keep it aside.

Mix the coconut milk and vinegar together in a separate bowl.

Simply pour content from each bowl into a blender, add the remaining coconut oil to it and process until you have a thick but smooth batter, studded with coconut.

Scoop the batter in the hot waffle iron to fill the cavities and spread evenly and cook for some time till it becomes golden brown. At this stage the waffle becomes crispy.
