Gnocchi with broccoli & parmesan cream sauce

Ingredients: 

butter
1 garlic clove, crushed
pinch chilli flakes (optional)
150ml vegetable stock
4 tbsp half-fat crème fraîche
50g parmesan, or vegetarian alternative, finely grated
250g tenderstem broccoli, halved lengthways if large
250g gnocchi
