Instant Pot Pot Roast


Crush the cooking time of your pot roast with this Instant Pot Pot Roast. In a little over an hour, you can have this recipe on the table. Delicious melt in your mount beef that is soft and juicy. Add potatoes and carrots for a full meal.


2-pound chuck
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1 onion
1 garlic clove
2 tablespoons tomato paste
¾ cup dark beer you can substitute with red wine or red grape juice
1¼ cups beef broth
½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3 carrots, peeled and cut into large 2" to 3" chunks
1 lb potatoes
For the Pot Roast Dry Rub:
1½ teaspoons dried crushed rosemary
1½ teaspoons dried thyme
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoons sea salt
Pinch fresh ground black pepper
