Korean Seafood Pancakes Pajeon

Notes: 

This is a Koren staple, I order a seafood variation at a little place I frequent. The standard version is a scallion pancake but you can do anything you like just like an omelet.

Ingredients: 

2 cup all purpose flour
2 cups cold water
2 eggs
1 tablespoon high quality soy sauce
oil for frying pan
3 scallions cut into 1 1/2 long slices
assorted seafood (shrimp, crab, octopus, scallops)

Goyza Dipping Sauce
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
1 stalk scallion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
½ tsp chili pepper flakes
½ tsp sugar
1 tsp sesame oil


  1. Wisk eggs, water flour and soy sauce together.
  2. Add seafood or your choice of ingredients.
  3. Add a little oil to a frying pan And bring to medium high heat.
  4. Pour mixture into the pan no more than 1/2" thick.
  5. Once cooked slid out on to a flat surface and cut into square or wedges with a pizza cutter
  6. Serve with you favorite dipping sauce such as goyza, sarrachi, soy sauce etc.
