1 chopped onion
2 cloves garlic finely chopped/crushed
1 lb. lean ground beef
Sauce
1 large can tomatoes
1 8 oz bottle/can tomato sauce
1 small can tomato paste
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt to taste
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp sweet basil
1 tsp oregano
1 pkg lasagna noodles cook as on pkg
1 cup cottage cheese
1 lb. mozzarella cheese

Sauté onion in oil, add garlic. Brown lean ground beef drain grease then mix with onion and garlic. Add tsp crushed chilies. Add beef mixture to the sauce simmer 1 hour uncovered. Spread a thin layer of sauce in a lasagna dish, cover with a layer of noodles. Add more sauce, dot with cottage cheese and sprinkle Parmesan, add a couple of slices of mozzarella. Repeat layers, ending with sauce and cover completely with mozzarella. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes let stand 5 or 10 minutes before serving.
