Lentil Soup

Ingredients: 

2-3 cloves of garlic
1 Onion
1 Carrot
2 Celery sticks
1 can of lentils
1/2 can of tomato's
3 cups of water + stock (chicken or vegetable, you could just use liquid stock too if you have it)
Pinch of Paprika & Cumin
2-3 Bay Leaves
1 Chicken breast
Zest of 1 lemon


  1. Chop Garlic & Onion & sauté in Olive Oil, speed 1, 3mins, temp 100
  2. Add chopped carrot & celery & cook until carrot has softened. speed 1, 3mins, temp 100.
  3. Add lentils, tomato's, water, stock, sage, paprika & cumin. Soft Speed, 16mins, Varoma temp
  4. Add whole chicken breast once stock has reached boiling point.
  5. Remove chicken, shred with a fork & put back into soup with lemon zest.
