Potato Spinach Casserole

Ingredients: 

6 to 8 large potatoes, cooked and mashed
1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. chopped chives or green onion tops
1/4 c. butter
2 (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
