Salsa

Notes: 

Comments: Use 1/2 green peppers and 1/2 hot peppers like jalapeno or
cayenne

Simmer 3 -4 hours stirring occasionally so it doesn't burn.

Ingredients: 

1 cup peppers
5 lbs tomatoes, diced
3 cups onion chopped
1 cup vinegar
3 1/2 tsp salt


 

1. Scald tomatoes - peel.  Chop tomatoes, onions and peppers.  Put all
ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil.  Simmer for about 3 to 4
hours or until desired thickness.  Put in clean hot jars.
