Salsa Verde

Ingredients: 

10 tomatillos husked, rinsed, and poached in water until soft
2 serrano chiles with seeds
¼ cup coarsely chopped fresh cilantro
½ cup water
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup finely diced white onion


In a blender or food processor, puree all ingredients except onion. Fold in onion.

 

Makes about 2 ½ cups
