Ingredients
- 1 bunch fresh asparagus
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbps lemon juice
- salt
- pepper
Directions
- Remove white, hard root end of asparagus. Holding the stalk at both ends, bend the stalk until it snaps. Or use a knife.
- Wash the asparagus under cold water.
- Heat skillet on low-medium heat
- Add olive oil
- Add asparagus
- Cover and cook for 5 minutes tossing occasionally.
- Add lemon, salt, pepper toss and remove from heat
- Cook for about 5 more minutes uncovered. It's fininshed when asparagus turns dark green.
