1 (28 ounce) can no-salt-added crushed tomatoes½ medium onion, grated
¼ cup dry red wine2 cloves garlic, minced½ teaspoon dried basil½ teaspoon dried oregano¼ teaspoon salt
Meatballs1 pound ground chicken or turkey1 large egg, lightly beaten½ cup grated Parmesan cheese½ cup fine dry whole-wheat breadcrumbs (see Tip)½ teaspoon dried basil½ teaspoon dried oregano½ teaspoon garlic powder¼ teaspoon salt30 pearl-size fresh mozzarella balls
