Spaghetti Sauce

Notes: 

To make this dish vegetarian leave out the meat or substitute with lentils

Ingredients: 

Italian stewed tomatoes, tomato paste, red wine such as marsala or Shiraz


Heat the pot and add some olive oil add in whatever vegetables you want in the sauce such as onion, garlic, mushrooms etc

Add in ground beef for protein or substitute with lentils or make marinara and serve with mozzarella sticks Over ground beef add in 4 tablespoons tomato paste and red wine cook till beef is browned or marsala is mostly evaporated. Add in 1 can italian tomatoes fill empty can with water and add in water Stir sauce and turn heat down to 2 or 3 keep to a simmer after sauce has been brought to a boil Season sauce to taste using salt, pepper, garlic powder & Italian seasonings Allow sauce to simmer until thick Start before you start the noodles so sauce will be ready by the time the noodles are done
