Ingredients: 

3/8 cup soy sauce
3/8 cup water
1/2 cup dry sherry, white wine, or Shaoxing wine
2 Tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons cornstarch
2 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoon salt - can omit
2 lbs.pound ground beef
Vegetable oil - enough to cover bottom of pan and fry garlic and ginger, then beef 1/8 to 1/4 cup
1/2 cups chopped fresh ginger
1/4 cup chopped garlic
2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 cup Asian sesame oil
1 - 2 bunches of green onions (3/4 cup chopped)

lettuce leaves, such as Bibb, Boston, or iceberg
