Halibut Puttanesca

Ingredients: 

Olive Oil
Garlic
Chopped onions
Canned tomatoes
Tomato paste
Capers
Sundried tomatoes
Black kalamata olives (pitted)
Thyme, oregano, rosemary, marjoram
Halibut steaks/filets (can sub tilapia or other white fish)
Salt
Pepper


Directions

  1. Heat oil in a small saucepan
  2. Cook garlic, then add onions and cook until soft
  3. Add canned stewed tomatoes, capers, olives and sundried tomatoes
  4. Add Italian herbs and spices
  5. Keep warm on the stove
  6. Arrange halibut filets in a casserole dish and cover with a few spoonfuls of the sauce
  7. Cook for 15 minutes at 350
  8. Serve topped with extra sauce
