If you wish to use this recipe as a chutney with slightly runny consistency do not cook after adding jaggery and other spices. This chutney will not last long and should be used within 3 - 4 days.


2 cups chopped fresh plums
1 cup jaggery (or 1c dk brown sugar + 2 tsp molasses)
2 tbsp. red chilly powder
1 tsp. cumin powder
1 tsp. Salt
