1/2 small onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup dry white wine
3 to 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth, heated to a simmer
1 1/2 pounds uncooked peeled and deveined medium shrimp
1 cup loosely packed chopped fresh basil leaves
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
