variations/add-ins:

feel free to add other vegetables you might find in your CSA box with the tomatoes as they roast; peppers, summer squash, broccoli, winter squash or root vegetables (these will need to be roasted seperately as they require a longer baking time).

Thinly chop collards, kale, chard or other hardy greens and add them to the tomato sauce right after they are removed from the oven.

cherry tomatoes
a few garlic cloves, peeled
olive oil
balsamic vinegar
salt and pepper
herbs

honey or other sweetener

thin long pasta, cooked al dente
