To make ahead: Make these now, store in your freezer in zipper seal bags. The night before your meal place them in the fridge to thaw a bit. Pour into serving bowl and reheat until fully warmed in the microwave. They’ll taste as if you just made them!

*need 2 bags of frozen french green beans or long
she used cast iron skillet to fry bacon & onion; don't know if mine will hold it all at the end... could use blue dutch oven?

Ingredients: 

½ package bacon (6 or 7 slices)
½ onion, chopped
32 ounces french style green beans (or other green beans)
2 T vinegar
2 T sugar
salt and pepper to taste
